Solution Overview

Based on the YC-BUS bus communication protocol, Yichuang Intelligence offers a public area intelligent lighting control system solution tailored for star-rated hotels. This solution enhances the hotel’s upscale image and management efficiency, promotes energy conservation and emission reduction, reduces operational costs, and serves as a comprehensive intelligent lighting control system for hotel environments.

1.Lighting Adaptation for Functional Areas

Key hotel functional zones such as atriums/lobbies, entrance halls, and multifunction halls require dynamic lighting effects tailored to different occasions, creating customizable scene settings (e.g., welcoming, event-specific, or ambient modes). The system employs switch control, dimming control, scene presets, timed schedules, and sensor-triggered automation to deliver balanced and adaptive illumination. This ensures guests experience an elegant and comfortable atmosphere upon entering the hotel.

2.Centralized Management

The system enables centralized control of all public area lighting, streamlining operations and enhancing management efficiency.

3.Energy Efficiency

Hotel lighting accounts for approximately 35% of total energy consumption. The control system significantly reduces energy waste through optimized operation, supporting sustainability goals.

Advanced switch and dimming circuit controls minimize wear and tear on fixtures, extending their lifespan and lowering long-term maintenance costs for the hotel.

This system uses the EASYCTRL brand intelligent lighting control system based on the YC-BUS protocol. It configures the corresponding intelligent gateway host according to floors and control areas. The gateway host manages several switch modules and triac dimming modules (depending on project needs, 0-10V dimming module, DALI dimming module, Leading Edge dimming module, etc. can be used). Each control area is equipped with control panels or intelligent touch screens as required, and the entire architecture adopts the YC-BUS bus control structure. Each control area is equipped with an intelligent control gateway host, which has a TCP/IP interface and connects to the area network switch. The entire intelligent lighting control system is managed via PC control interface software, and the system also provides integration interfaces to facilitate interconnection with other subsystems in the hotel’s intelligent building management system.

GW.200A: The gateway of the Hotel Public Area Intelligent Lighting Control System, serving as the core processing unit of the entire system, equipped with logic functions and supporting voice control. 

Depending on the project requirements, either gateway can be selected. 

The gateway provides a MODBUS-TCP interface for integration with third-party systems (e.g., BA systems).

Based on YC-BUS technology,the system has powerful intelligent lighting gateway;stable switch control modules with diverse product range to meet project needs;comprehensive dimming control modules with outstanding dimming performance;complete range of supporting modules, panels, and touchpanels.The rail-mounted bus module uses a bus connector, eliminating the need for manual wiring, ensuring stability and reliability.The failure of a single bus device does not affect the normal operation of the entire bus system. Simply replacing the faulty device with a new product and properly setting the ID number completes the replacement.
