Solution Overview

Based on the YC-BUS communication protocol, Easyctrl Intelligent has launched a smart home control system solution specifically designed for villas. Smart homes involve numerous subsystems, and this solution leverages the powerful logic processing capabilities of the intelligent IoT gateway host to integrate a highly unified, multi-subsystem smart home control system with logical control and excellent cost performance. The system offers homeowners a distinctive and enhanced smart living experience.

System Achievements

1.Highly Integrated Multi-Subsystem Solution

The villa smart home adopts Easyctrl Intelligent’s EASYCTRL brand smart home control system, a highly integrated solution that combines multiple subsystems, including smart lighting, security, home entertainment, smart environmental control, smart curtain/shading, smart interaction control, and gateway/protocol integration.

2.Outstanding and Stable Smart Lighting Control System

The system delivers orderly brightness and dynamic lighting effects through switch control, dimming control, scene control, timer scheduling, sensor-based control, panel control, and touchscreen control.

3.Support for Complex Logic Control Functions

Villas typically contain numerous controllable devices (mostly using serial or network ports). Yichuang’s smart IoT gateway host offers excellent scalability, enabling centralized management of these devices while supporting highly complex logic control scenarios.

4.Diversified Control Methods

The system supports various control methods, including panel control, touchscreen control, mobile control, computer control, and voice control. It can be integrated with the Tuya platform and is also compatible with Home Assistant. The control interface app is fully customizable, with a user-friendly and efficient editing process.

This solution adopts the EASYCTRL brand smart lighting control system based on the YC-BUS bus protocol. For the villa smart home system, a smart IoT gateway host is configured to manage multiple smart Relay switch modules and smart dimming modules (depending on project requirements, options include 0-10V dimming module, DALI dimming module, or DMX dimming modules). Each control area is equipped with a control panel or smart touchscreen as needed, all built upon the YC-BUS bus control architecture. The smart IoT gateway host is equipped with multiple serial ports and network ports, allowing it to control both serial and networked devices while supporting complex logic control scenarios. Additionally, the gateway seamlessly integrates with Home Assistant and can connect to the Tuya platform. Its powerful scalability provides the system with a high degree of flexibility, greatly enhancing the user’s smart control experience.

GW.100A: The gateway of the Hotel Public Area Intelligent Lighting Control System, serving as the core processing unit of the entire system.

GW.200A: The gateway of the Hotel Public Area Intelligent Lighting Control System, serving as the core processing unit of the entire system, equipped with logic functions and supporting voice control.

Depending on the project requirements, either gateway can be selected.

The gateway provides a MODBUS-TCP interface for integration with third-party systems (e.g., BA systems).

Robust and stable YC-BUS system bus architecture

Based on YC-BUS technology,the system has powerful intelligent lighting gateway;stable switch control modules with diverse product range to meet project needs;comprehensive dimming control modules with outstanding dimming performance;complete range of supporting modules, panels, and touchpanels.The rail-mounted bus module uses a bus connector, eliminating the need for manual wiring, ensuring stability and reliability.The failure of a single bus device does not affect the normal operation of the entire bus system. Simply replacing the faulty device with a new product and properly setting the ID number completes the replacement.
