Overview of the YC-BUS Bus Protocol Technology

The YC-BUS protocol is a proprietary bus communication protocol independently developed by Guangzhou Easyctrl Intelligent. It is based on RS485 and incorporates a bus management mechanism. The system adopts a master-slave architecture, where a single gateway host can connect to up to 63 bus devices, including Relay switch modules, dimming modules, serial modules, touchscreens, and more. The modules are interconnected using a hand-in-hand wiring method.

YC-BUS Bus System Architecture

The YC-BUS smart lighting system allows for flexible topology, and the bus architecture can be configured in bus, tree, or star topologies. With the aid of bus devices, it can meet project requirements of any size. In the main architecture of a local area network (TCP/IP), up to 250 Gateways(GW.100) can be connected. Under a single gateway, the system can accommodate up to 63 bus devices, and devices connected to each gateway can interact across gateways.

Easy installation and convenient maintenance

The rail-mounted bus module uses a bus connector, eliminating the need for manual wiring, ensuring stability and reliability.The failure of a single bus device does not affect the normal operation of the entire bus system. Simply replacing the faulty device with a new product and properly setting the ID number completes the replacement.
